I’ve always admired classic monochrome folding arm awnings that you find in cafés to shade their outdoor areas. Folding arm awnings have always conjured up images of European breakfasts and afternoon coffees sitting in the sun and breathing in the buzz of life.
I imagined that I might have folding arm awnings in my own Melbourne home to create a little class and sophistication and a bit of an outdoor niche in my garden. Now my imagination has come to life in my very often café style deck complete with motorised folding arm awnings.
I contacted inDesign Blinds who installed my yellow and white Italian style awnings. I now sip an ice tea in the cool shade and feel like I’m on holiday at home.
